The full name of the association is China Europe Building Technology Exchange and Cooperation Association, hereinafter referred to as CEBTECA. The registration address of CEBTECA is Lisbon, Portugal.
CEBTECA is a public welfare, non-profit, scholarly and non-governmental organization for academic exchange and technology cooperation, which is joined voluntarily by the workers in the science and technology field, educators, experts and scholars in the field of architecture from China and a number of European countries.
Purposes of CEBTECA: CEBTECA will abide by the laws, regulations and policies of China and the European countries as well as comply with codes of professional ethnics. Taking friendly academic exchanges and technology cooperation between China and European countries as a link, it holds that science and technology are the force that drives social advancement. It will unite numerous works in the scientific and technological fields, educators and relevant researchers, experts and scholars from China and Europe, to promote innovation and development in the engineering and construction field, and, to devote to young talents cultivation. By doing all these, CEBTECA will become a strong link to boost China-Europe academic exchange in the field of engineering and construction and will provide a vital platform for the cooperation and innovation of China and Europe’s building technology, providing services to the construction industry of China, Europe and even the world.

It actively promotes the achievements of scientific and technological innovation and facilitates the commercialization of the scientific and research findings.

To organize international conferences for China-Europe building and innovation technology, academic forums, and innovative technology exhibitions. Normally, the academic conferences or academic forums or innovative technology exhibitions will be held once every two years, in China and Europe in turns, by countries and organizations that are eligible.

To actively organize international exchange activities about the studies between the Chinese and European universities, to promote students and faculties from universities in China and Europe to participate in exchange projects and to strengthen communication and cooperation between professionals specialized in building engineering related science and technology in China and Europe.
